Dr. Marlon Labalan

Dentist 
Dr. Labalan grew up in Bacolod, Philippines, and completed his Bachelor of Dentistry at Centro Escolar University in Manila in 1990. He practiced dentistry for more than ten years before relocating to Australia, where he continued to expand his clinical and technical expertise. He also holds a Diploma of Dental Technology from TAFE Randwick (2003), following the completion of his Australian Dental Council Certificate in Melbourne in 2006.
With a strong passion for general dentistry and a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Labalan is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal oral health. He is known for his approachable manner and ability to connect with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. His commitment to the profession extends beyond clinical practice—he has contributed to dental education as a Clinical Instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Sydney (2009).
Dr. Labalan regularly attends continuing professional development programs to stay updated with the latest advancements in dental techniques and technology. He is currently an Associate Dentist at Smile @ Norwest in Baulkham Hills.
He is also a member of both the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the Filipino-Australian Dental Association (FADA), reflecting his commitment to ongoing education and professional excellence.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Labalan enjoys watching movies and loves playing soccer, a pastime that keeps him active and balanced outside his clinical work.
Dr Daniel Girgis

Dental Surgeon
Dr Girgis is a dual qualified Medical Doctor & Dentist, having completed both medicine (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide 2014) and dentistry (Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Western Australia 2020). Additionally, Dr Girgis completed 12 months of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Training at a registrar level at Prince of Wales Hospital, NSW in 2021.
Dr Daniel routinely performs a variety of oral surgery procedures under inhalation sedation (happy gas), achieving excellent results. Dr Girgis has extensive medical experience (over 5 years of experience as a medical practitioner in emergency departments across NSW, WA & SA), which informs his ability to comprehensively medically assess his patients for a wide range of oral surgical and sedation services.

Ruby Labalan

Dental Hygienist 
Ruby grew up in Manila, Philippines, and completed her Bachelor of Dentistry at Centro Escolar University in 1990. She practiced dentistry for more than six years alongside Dr. Labalan before relocating to Australia. Ruby later completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Newcastle, Ourimbah, in 2007. Ruby also worked in a number of private practices across Sydney as a Dental Hygienist before joining St Leonards Dental Centre.
Her experience extends beyond private practice—she has worked in aged care and nursing home facilities for a few years where she played an important role in improving the oral health of elderly residents.
She takes pride in educating patients to achieve a high level of oral health and helping them understand the vital connection between oral health and overall health and wellbeing.
Ruby currently works part-time as a dental hygienist, contributing her skills to the practice while balancing her professional responsibilities with family life. Her commitment to both her patients and family reflects the dedication she brings to work.
