What is Accreditation?

Accreditation is a continuous assessment process of quality improvement and enhancing the provision of service and patient care in Australia. It is an independent recognition given by Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) that your practice meets the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards applicable to the dental profession.

What this means for our patients: 

This means that our practice has met the requirements of the National Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and full accreditation was awarded to St Leonard's Dental Centre for commitment to delivering safe and quality-focused healthcare service to our patients and the local community.

What this means for us: 

Undertaking this accreditation formally gives us a seal of approval that our practice demonstrates compliance with the NSQHS specific Standards and recognized for a high standard of continuous improvement and performance management in the practice.
