What are the common signs and symptoms of gum disease?

- Red or swollen gums
- Bleeding when brushing
- Bad Breath
- Aching, itchy, sore, or tender gums 
- Receding gums (teeth beginning to look longer)
In severe cases, pus between your teeth and gums when you press down on the gums
Be aware of any unusual tooth movement like separation or protrusion of teeth, changes of soft tissue appearance and fitting of partial dentures which could also be symptoms of gum disease.
