To be on the safe side, don't brush or rinse the mouth in the first 24 hours after the tooth extraction procedure. When brushing after 24 hours do it with care and don't allow the toothbrush to get close to the extraction site to prevent bleeding. Also, no prolong rinsing of water or mouth rinse in your mouth.
