Can you eat after a composite filling treatment?

Unlike the old amalgam fillings, composite restorations allow patients to eat right after getting the procedure done. However, dentists do recommend the patients to eat only after the numbness wears off to reduce the risk of accidentally biting your l cheek,  lip, or tongue. Though composite resin material is very strong, avoid eating crunchy, hard, or sticky right after getting the procedure.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks, and we recommend seeking a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner before proceeding.
