How will I know if my mouth guard is still good?

For children, a sports mouthguard should be check during regular dental visits to ensure that the
mouthguard is still correctly fitted in the teeth. At some stage, it might need adjustment or
replacement as your child’s dentition change.

For adult mouthguard, it should be reviewed yearly to make sure the fit is still correct and to
check the physical condition of the mouthguard.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks, and we recommend seeking a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner before proceeding.
